Day Two

The finished foundation: pressure treated beams over a

bed of crushed stone. Level and even, a little tougher

than you might think. Add moving all that lumber to the

site by hand, and I had a long day. Water consumed: 1.5

gallons.

So tired. These picture do not relate the 10-12 hours of

wild turkey chasing that preceded them.

I built a small retaining wall of fieldstone.
